I also can’t stand that some (newspapers, blogs etc.) sites have gone to just facebook comments so the comments have become banal! ]]>

]]>Here’s my proof. Multiplying 225 by any random number N will produce 0 or 5

in the least significant digit. So we know N must be even.

With N=2 we get 450. Now the 2nd digit will also flip between 0 and 5 again for N**2,

or 4. 225*4 = 900. Now the problem simplifies to 9 * X = 1′s & 0′s,

900 times anything will leave the 00 in place.

Now 9*1=9, 9*2=18, …9*5=45,…9*9=81, 9*10 = 90. Another 0! Now we are 9000.

And we have 9 again. There is nothing you can multiply 9 by to get to a number with only 1′s and 0′s.

Expressed in decimal this would be 2147483648
